CURVULARIA BLIGHT
Pathogen: Curvularia spp.
Curvularia blight causes thinning and overall decline in turfgrasses. This often occurs in irregular patches and streaks. One symptom of this pathogen is that grass will begin to decline from the leaf tip down. A fine layer of mycelia often will be observed on infected tissues. When observed under magnification sporulation can be observed from infected and dead tissue.
